Holiday Pot Luck & Silent Auction
The December 2023 Buffalo Geological Society meeting will be Friday, Dec. 1, 2023 at the Western New York Heritage Discovery Center, 100 Lee St., Buffalo, NY.
This is our annual Pot Luck Supper and Silent Auction. Please bring a dish to pass, your own plates and silverware. The club will provide pop and roast beef and rolls. You may bring up to 10 items per person for the Silent Auction. If you have a minimum price you want your item to sell at, please write it as the first price on the slip. Set up begins at 6:00, Dinner will begin at 7:00, and the Auction will begin at 7:30 and will end at 8:00 PM. We ask that people check out with their winnings at the direction of the auction runners to avoid a traffic jam checking out.

Our December monthly meeting is our annual Holiday Pot Luck & Silent Auction.
Bring some good food, good rocks, and good cheer!

Come early to set up; dinner starts at 6:30 PM, with the silent auction starting an hour after at 7:30. The club will provide roast beef, rolls, coffee, tea and pop. Please bring your own table settings, plates, and silverware, as well as your own dish to pass.

The auction is cash-only, and members may bring up to ten items (minerals, fossils, jewelry, books, rock-hounding equipment etc.) for the silent auction. All proceeds go to the seller and will be paid immediately after the bidding period ends.
March Live Auction
Our March monthly meeting is our annual Live Auction. A variety of mineral specimens, fossils, jewelry, books, and rock hounding equipment provided by our members will be up for bid.

The auction is cash-only, and members may bring up to four items to be auctioned off. All proceeds go to the seller, to be paid immediately following placing a winning bid.

The general public is welcome to attend and bid on items.

Set-up begins at 6:30 PM, with the viewing of items starting at 7. The live auction begins at 7:30 PM.
